Prescriptions
We can offer you a private prescription during your consultation if appropriate. This can be dispensed either locally or by Pharmacierge who can arrange dispatch. You will pay the pharmacy a fee to cover the cost of the drug/device and their dispensing. This is not covered under the NHS prepayment certificate schemes.
How does private prescribing work?
Responsibility
We can issue a prescription for as long as it is clinically reasonable. This may be 3 months for the first and six months for a subsequent script.
Annual Review
If providing you with regular prescriptions we will need to see or talk to you once a year and check that is is still the best option for you.
Repeats
When you need a repeat we ask you to email the request. We will charge for this service outside of a review appointment.
Delivery Option
We can send your prescription to Pharmacierge who dispense private prescriptions from their London base to anywhere in the UK.
What can we do?
We can offer prescriptions for conditions that we have assessed and evaluated. We may continue prescribing initiated elsewhere if it is appropriate.
We will not prescribe for conditions we have not assessed, initiate gender reassignment treatment, prescribe opiates or most other controlled drugs.

Do not suffer in silence – do something about that health problem that has been niggling for a while. Take stock of your health and look at what you can do to improve things now and reduce risks for the future. Do not assume that because you have a long term health issue that nothing can be done to help other problems that are affecting how you feel and what you can do.
Experienced GP's
Our GPs are fully qualified and all have years of experience. Medicine covers many areas, and no one can know everything. There are unknowns and gaps in the data. We will tell you when we cannot answer a question.
We then talk together as expertise is shared within the team and will research issues that we are less sure of.
