Our private GPs will allow you the time to explain your concerns and treat you as an individual.
Women's Health Specialist
We support women through a wide range of problems arising from being female from birth. We have the time, knowledge and experience to help even when these are complex.
Sexual Health and Contraception
We can help with a range of sexual health issues for both me and women. We can test for and treat infection, help you to understand and manage difficulties with sexual function and offer all reversible methods of contraception.
occupational Health
The experienced GPs can provide routine medicals such as are needed to drive heavy goods or public service vehicles, We would need a GP summary or to see your NHS app for evidence of your previous health but can do the required checks.
We can also provide consultant level occupation
health assessment as Dr Pickles is both a GP
and a consultant in this field.
Nursing Services
Our nurses are very experienced. They help the doctors by providing assistance during contraception procedures, acting as chaperones (if requested), taking blood and urine tests, and performing ECGs. They can also help with dressings after surgery. Please ask if there are nursing services you need, but they do not offer home visits.
Truro, Plymouth and Exeter
St Erme Medical is based in its own premises in the centre of Cornwall. All services offered can be provided here. The administration team is based in St Erme. Consultations with a doctor can also be offered in the Nuffield Health hospitals in Plymouth and Exeter.
All services are available face-to-face in St Erme. Drs Gray and Patton offer women’s health at the Nuffield Hospital in Plymouth, and Dr Gillies offers women’s health and general practice for adults at the Nuffield Hospital in Exeter.
Secure video and telephone appointments allow consultations with patients throughout the UK. These are co-ordinated by the team at St Erme.
